The Shooting Stars is registered with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) as part of the New England Association. The NE Shooting Stars is a nationally recognized club and is known as one of the finest basketball programs in the country. The shooting stars have played the best teams in the country and have won numerous State Championships at all age levels.

Teams have competed in Nationals every year, ranking multiple times in the sweet-sixteen finish. The NE Shooting Stars basketball program strives to provide excellent instruction, superior competition and memories of a lifetime. The Shooting Stars have programs from ages 10-16. Tryouts are held in late winter, early spring. This AAU program was established in 1988 and has had numerous alumni go on to play collegiate basketball as well as pro basketball.  With several new coaches this season, the club is very excited about the upcoming season.
